The 43rd Asian Conference on Remote Sensing

14 Oct 2022

The Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS) is an annual event hosted by member countries of the Asian Association on Remote Sensing (AARS). This year’s ACRS was held in a hybrid format (physically and remotely) in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, from the 3rd – 5th October 2022. The conference seeks to serve as an interdisciplinary discussion for leading researchers and students in various geospatial and remote sensing fields to present on the latest technologies and applications, and also to exchange research ideas, promoting greater international collaborations among the like-minded.

21AT Asia was one of the online participants in ACRS 2022. Our CEO, Mr Zhou Bin, served as the chairperson for one of the technical sessions held during the week; while our researcher, Mr Randy Chua, presented on the research titled “Object-based Temporal Dynamic Time Warping for Cropland Classification using Multi-Sensor Remote Sensing Data”; introducing 21AT Asia’s in-house technical expertise in addressing the dynamic temporal conditions of agricultural crops, by employing time-warping methodologies to alleviate temporal warping in optical time-series data from various high-resolution satellites, such as the TripleSat Constellation.

The hybrid nature of ACRS 2022 was a refreshing experience for 21AT Asia, and we are glad to be part of the academic and industrial participants during the enlightening sharing sessions across the 3-day conference. Further information on our research can be found either in the ACRS 2022 proceedings, or our company website.
